Tupelo (from Nyssa ogeche blossoms)

Harvested from the swamps of northern Florida, this rare honey is buttery, smooth, and naturally slow to crystallize—a true Southern delicacy. Sourced from the fleeting spring bloom of the White Tupelo tree (Nyssa ogeche), which grows only along the Apalachicola River basin and parts of the Florida panhandle, Georgia, and Alabama, pure Tupelo honey is famously known as “the champagne of honeys.” With harvests limited to just a few hundred barrels annually, it’s one of the most prized varietals in the world—often commanding two to three times the price of standard honey. If it’s in stock, consider yourself lucky.
