Sumter Bee Company is a veteran-owned, husband-and-wife business proudly based in Sumter, South Carolina. Every product we create—from our scented beeswax candles to our beeswax hand balm—is handcrafted right here in Sumter using thoughtfully sourced ingredients and a commitment to ecological stewardship.
Our journey began with a single beehive and a passion for pollinators. Today, we manage over 60 colonies and produce a growing line of natural body care and home goods that reflect our values: simplicity, authenticity, and sustainability. We believe in making products that nourish the skin, calm the senses, and connect people to the land around them.

- Scented Beeswax Candles & Melts– Clean-burning and richly aromatic, made with pure beeswax, and coconut oil. Always 100% cotton wicks and phthalate-free for a healthier home.
- Hand & Beard Balm, Salves, and Lip Balm – Nourishing blends of beeswax, shea butter, and essential oils that soothe skin and tame beards naturally.
- Solid Lotion Sticks & Body Scrubs – Deep hydration and gentle exfoliation using natural ingredients and subtle, refreshing scents.
- Molded Candles – Hand-poured designs that celebrate craftsmanship, clean ingredients, and the beauty of beeswax.
- Beekeeping Equipment & Supplies – A full line of quality gear—from woodenware to feeders and protective clothing—all field-tested and used in our own apiary operations.
